Course Description

Dara Aldy (Certified Labor Doula) and Amy Hall (IBCLC) team teach this four-hour class that will equip you with healthy postpartum practices and how to have a peaceful breastfeeding relationship. Guest speakers include Dara and Dennis Aldy.

Amy Hall is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has worked with nursing mothers for over 13 years, in various capacities, but her favorite "credential" is having nursed each of her own 6 children. Amy strives to provide lactation support to the Kansas City area in a holistic, encouraging manner, with compassion and creativity.   • Where is the class located?

    Class will be held online via Zoom from 1pm-5:30pm on the scheduled class day. You will receive an email with the link by the Friday before the class is scheduled.

  • Do I have to pay online or are there other means to pay?

    You can pay via PayPal which also accepts all major credit cards (without needing to set up a PayPal account).

  • What is included in this class?

    This class will include live instruction at the Aldy's beautiful residence, multimedia presentations, interactive discussion, Q&A, and extensive notes.

  • What if I/we cannot come and need to cancel?

    If for some reason you register, but cannot attend, please contact us via email at [email protected] and we will give you access to the recording of the live class.

  • Is this class online or in-person?

    During the Covid-19 pandemic, we moved the class entirely online. However, over recent months the class has changed back to being in-person. However, this course does include access to the recordings of previous versions of this course as well as access to digital content. Unfortunately, we are not able to do a hybrid experience of online with in-person due to our technology limitations (we tried and it was not great).
